Customer: Asset Assured strengthens partnership with South Central Ambulance Service NHS Trust with third contract to oversee growing fleet
Serving Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, and Sussex, SCAS operates a fleet of 102 vehicles, including 40 PTS ambulances and 62 Wheelchair Access Vehicles, serving a population of over 7 million across six counties.
In 2022, Asset Assured secured a four-year agreement to oversee SCAS’s fleet of electric Wheelchair Access patient transport ambulances, comprising 43 Ford Tourneo vehicles.
Following this success, SCAS awarded Asset Assured the maintenance management for an additional 40 Fiat Ducato patient transport vehicles 2022 and 19 Ford Tourneo Wheelchair Access Vehicles in 2023.
Asset Assured assumes comprehensive oversight of all aspects of roadworthiness for SCAS’s fleet, encompassing servicing, repairs, and breakdown recovery, proactively minimising vehicle downtime while upholding high-quality service standards. Asset Assured has invested in Electric/Hybrid vehicle system repair and replacement accreditation from the Institute Of The Motor Industry to service SCAS vehicles to the highest standard.
